Architectural Designer/Draftsman

Job Description: • Create concept drawings using AutoCAD based on sketches and project team decisions. • Proposed new design detail, resolve interfacing details, etc. • Obtain and assemble data to complete designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary. • Develop detailed design drawings and specifications, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment. • Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting designs, procedures and operations. • Work together in a team environment providing support for CAD work. • Working in Microsoft PowerPoint to create basic presentations of drawings and highlighting details of the design. • Modify and revise designs to adjust to new specifications or plans as changes are made. • Organizing and backing up CAD files and other project files while maintaining both updated soft copies and hard copies of plans. • Working with Excel to create table that support drawings. Job Requirement: • University graduate in Civil Engineering with AutoCAD software. • Experience in architectural construction field at least 3 years. • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D drawings, shop drawing, etc.. • Able to work independently and provide updates to team. • Knowledge of Microsoft Access will be added advantage.
